When I first saw The Kingcote Barn I was taken in by the beauty of, not only the venue itself, but the incredible landscape surrounding it.  The Barn is wonderfully isolated in these surroundings allowing a free-flowing wedding without interruption to the special day itself or the beautiful view.
Sam & Annabel were the perfect couple in front of the lens - something I saw from their pre-wedding shoot.  Sam was constantly smiling and enjoying the session which I knew would carry forward to the wedding.  Some of my favourite pre-wedding images came from this shoot and more than one of them from Annabel's photos.

A great looking, fun-loving couple and a fantastic venue.

Love hearts and flowers - a good omen of things to come.

Sam with his infectious smile - the least nervous Groom of the year.

While Sam was at the Barn, Annabel was just as calm at home.

I didn't even need to ask for the poses for this shot.  I love the "girl band" feel of this.

Here comes the Bride - but Sam can't wait that long.

One of the things I really love about The Kingscote Barn is the balcony above the ceremony room.  It allowed me to get great shots of the whole room and also take some of the ceremony shots from above.

Every time I see this shot the word "whipper-snappers" springs to mind.  Children at weddings are great fun to capture on the camera and I was certainly challenged by the kids at this wedding.

Formal shots are part and parcel of the day - and I always ensure that they are injected with a lot of fun.  Formals don't need to just record who was their on the day.  I want them to say something about the people in the group shot too.

The love-bug is very infectious.

 One short for legs eleven.

One of my favourite parts of the wedding is the speeches.  A perfect opportunity to capture true emotions.  Laughter, joy and tears.
