The Greenway Hotel has my favourite feature of any venue and one that you cannot miss - the hedges surrounding the hotel gardens.  So what, you might say - but when you see them you'll be as keen on them as me.  Each tall hedge is cut into the shape of a train.  Fantastic for wedding images.  There are other great features including several grand fireplaces, a beautiful oak room - called The Oak Room, a wonderful spiral staircase in the gardens and huge bay windows in the dining room - ideal for lighting while shooting the speeches.

Sam & Lucia were a lot of fun on their pre-wedding shoot which we did at Tortworth Court.  They were very close - which you might be surprised to learn is not always the case in couple photo shoots - and I built the image style around that.  The shoot ended with a great leaf throwing fight which captured the fun of them both.  Fun and adventurous imagery that carried forward to their wedding day.

I love shooting the bridal preparations.  It's a very key part of the day.  As I always say - you special day doesn't start with you walking up the aisle.

The most emotional part of the day.  It's essential that this moment is captured.

The "hard part" is over now.  All Sam & Lucia need to do now is write it all down in the register.

The reception room makes a great location for the string quartet.

See what I mean about the hedges?

Why do guys always play croquet like golf?

Sam & Lucia were adamant that they are captured in an image with this fantastic tree.

Well done to Sam for holding this pose for about 5 minutes without complaint.  It only took 60 seconds to get the various shots but Lucia was enjoying the relaxation too much.

A wonderful venue.

A chance for the boys to relax and make sure their speeches will meet with Lucia's approval.

 A quiet moment for Lucia.

The speeches are about to begin - Sam is getting ready.  There was no need to worry as his speech was fantastic - even if he did kill my all-time favourite song.
