Ardington House is without doubt one of the most incredible venues for weddings and, from my perspective, for the wedding photography.  A beautiful hotel both inside and out, great open grounds leading to a swan & duck filled river.  The river itself surrounds a small island which is perfect for anyone who wants an outdoor ceremony.

I met Joanne and Lee a few months earlier for their pre-wedding shoot and was very impressed with how comfortable they were in front of the lens.  They were very keen on candid reportage photography for their wedding and, in turn, knew how to "ignore" the camera to ensure they got the images they wanted.

I had some competition for the day in the form of Nathan - a keen photographer.

Joanne's final check before leaving for the ceremony.  As you can see there really was no need.

Some rumours were coming through that some of the guests (in high heels) were struggling with the crossing of the bridge to the get to the island.  Joanne and her Bridesmaids were keen to ensure that everyone got across safely.

 How calm does Lee look?

Joanne walks the tightrope that is the island bridge.

One of my favourite moments of any wedding - "if anyone has any just cause......" - the silence always gets everyone laughing.

Joanne and Lee walk the gauntlet of confetti.

Everyone enjoys a game a Aunt Sally.  Not like the Worzel Gummidge show, at all.

Joanne and Lee were so keen on their flow-posing shoot that we did three sittings.
